"The mission of ACT is to educate, inspire and empower
children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through the arts."
Season: There are season productions performed by adults and children.
Programs: ACT. offers classes, summer camps, and special events. There are age requirements for specific classes, camps, and events.
-Class ages range from 3-18. Classes are offered on a 4-week per semester basis. Each class is about 2 hours long.
-Summer Camps ages range from 5-18.
*Intensive camps are ages 8-18. The intensive camps are just that, intensive. These deal with specific aspects of theatre to define and refine students' techniques.
*One week camps are for ages 5-12. These camps are for introducing theatre in general to younger students. Each week focuses on a different interest in theatre from Shakespeare to stage action to improv.
Finance: ACT. is a nonprofit organization that depends on donated funds and supplies for productions.
Extra Notes:
-Film acting classes and camps are also offered.
-A "Parents' Night Out" program is offered at ACT. For $20 per child, parents can leave their children to participate in theatre games, musical movies, etc. while the parents are free to spend their time elsewhere. Anyone can particiapte, even if they do not belong to ACT.
-A weekly lunch plan is available through "Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches."
